Kapha Dosha: An Apology Letter

Aug 06, 2024

Hello darling,

Alright, it’s time for some straight talk. It’s me, your Kapha Dosha, and I owe you an apology for all the times I’ve been emotional, stubborn, and, well, just typically Kapha. So, let’s get to the point.

First, let’s address my emotional side. I know I can turn on the waterworks at the drop of a hat, making you feel like you’re swimming in a sea of feelings. While it’s good to be in touch with our emotions, I realise that sometimes it can be overwhelming. I’m sorry for the times I’ve made you feel like you’re stuck in an emotional fog. We’ll work on finding a balance where we can honour our feelings without getting lost in them.

Now, about the stubbornness. I know I can dig my heels in and resist change like it’s my birthright. My tendency to hold on to things (whether it’s old habits, grudges, or the last piece of chocolate) can be frustrating. I apologise for making you feel stuck and for resisting new experiences that could be beneficial. Let’s try to be more open to change and embrace mental flexibility, even if it’s a little uncomfortable at first.

And then there’s my love for comfort and routine. While it’s great to have stability, I realise that too much can lead to stagnation. I’m sorry for the times I’ve made you feel lazy and unmotivated, preferring to stay in our cozy comfort zone instead of getting up and going. Let’s find a way to enjoy our comforts while also stepping out and exploring new opportunities.

Despite my tendencies, know that my slow and steady approach comes from a place of care and nurturing. I’m here to provide stability and support, to help you stay grounded. Let’s work on finding a balance where we can enjoy our comforts and routines without getting stuck, where we can embrace change and growth with a grounded, soft heart.

With steady love and a gentle push,

Your Kapha Dosha

P.S. I've heard rumours of invigorating activities that might help us find new energy. Shall we explore them?
