Pitta Dosha: An Apology Letter

Hey hey, 

It’s me, your Pitta Dosha, coming in hot with an apology that’s long overdue. Let’s cut to the chase—I know I can be intense, and for all the fiery moments I’ve put you through, I’m genuinely sorry. 

First off, let’s address my predisposition for perfectionism. I know I tend to push you hard, always striving for excellence, often leaving you feeling like you’re never quite enough. It’s my high standards and relentless drive (which you have to admit, are you kind of love?), but I realise it can be exhausting. I’m sorry for those times when I’ve made you feel burnt out. Maybe we can turn down the heat a notch and learn to appreciate simply doing our best? 

Then there’s my temper. Oh yes, that infamous Pitta flare-up. One minute, you’re calm and composed, and the next, I’ve turned you into a fire-breathing dragon. I apologize for the impulsive words and heated arguments. It’s just my fiery nature getting the best of me. Perhaps we can practice pausing to cool off before things get too heated. 

And let’s not forget about the digestion inferno. My love for spicy foods and my ability to turn your stomach into a cauldron of acid—sorry about that. I know it can be a bit much. I think it’s best we start to explore some more cooling and soothing foods to keep things in balance? 

My relentless ambition—oh, the drive to conquer and achieve! It’s both a blessing and a curse. I know I’ve pushed you to your limits, sometimes sacrificing relaxation and joy for the sake of our goals. I’m sorry for those moments when I’ve turned life into a battlefield. I think we need to learn how to channel this energy more harmoniously. 

Despite all my intensity, please understand that my fire comes from a place of passion and purpose. I’m here to help you really live, transform, to bring clarity and focus, and to fuel your dreams. We've just got to figure out a way to harness this power without getting scorched. 

Thank you for your resilience and strength. Here’s to a future where we can blaze brightly without burning out, aiming for 1% better every day, growing with grace and ease.
